i have the above characteristics, so i confirm i am a WOMAN.... :(
because women live in this planet, there are lot of fun every corner in the world!

Craft & Quilt Fair October 2007
having a big nite last nite, but didn't change my wake up habit... no need to have driving lesson this week, actually wanted to sleep a little bit longer... but somehow i woke up earlier than i used to... might be too excited to know that i will go to the craft show today...
met Kofan at McDonalds, had our breakie. then we started our long journey.
to make our show ticket worth, we went in the fair at around 10.30 and came out at 16.30.... 6 hours.... wahlou~ walked longer than the charity walk... haha... we went every single aisle even some of the booths we were not very interested in. well, we are jus behaving as a normal human~ :)
so what will happen if you spend the whole day in such a place where many good stuff were being sold? = overspent... i think i spent less than the last time, as i didn't buy any cross stitch kit this time.
er... anyway, don't wanna to calculate how much did i spent. all i know is the things i bought were worth the money. and can satisfy my desire of making stuff... :)

SAL Ball 2007
was looking forward to this, er... actually not really looking forward, jus want to see how it's like, as i have never been once before.
the dinner was good! though didn't get any prize from the lucky draw, it was fun to dance with the girls~
back home at around 23.00++, tired.... and tomorrow will meet Kofan for the craft show...

Hot stomach
was so happy to read the big recipe book after work, lie on the bed, read and read until forgot the time... when i realised, it was 19.20 already...
don't know what to eat, so jus fried the potato with the pickle veggie and mixed it with noodles... er... not too bad lah~ then my itchy hand put a spoonful chili sauce in the bowl...
what happen next? sore throat and very hot stomach.... =___= |||

Macaroons
[500 cookies, p. 231]115 g (4 oz) ground almonts
250 g (9 oz) caster sugar
1 tbsp ground rice (i used plain flour instead)
2 egg whites
1. preheat the oven to 175C. line baking sheets with rice paper. mix all the ingredients to a smooth paste.
2. pipe small rounds of mixture using a 1-cm plain nozzle.
3. bake for 8 to 10 minutes until golden. cool on baking sheets and peel off the rice paper to remove.
4. when completely cool, store in an airtight container for five to seven days.
comment:
it is very easy to make, but make sure you like eating very sweet stuff, otherwise, i won't recommend you to try this.

Birthday dinner with Maria
day before Maria's birthday, went out with them at around 12.00+
shopping in Garden City, found my favourite machine that i long for was on sale. by the time, i wanted to grab one, suddenly my machine was taken away by a lady with a young boy.... errrr.... Mrs. **, i don't know who you are, but why you take my machine away from me??? you know i want it for a long time, you can ask my fren Maria!! .....
wishing her put the box down, but she finally went to the counter and paid for it... WAAAAHHHHH.... why why why??? why everyone likes taking things from me?? last time, another lady took the bed sheet that i chose, this time, my favourite machine...
ok, fine. as long as she cooked good food for the kid, i will forgive her... hehe... Henry said Maria and he will bring me around until i find it. :) thank you!!
after that, we went back to their home cut cake. was a nice cheese cake. still have time before the dinner, i did some needle work (i bought everything but not the needle... the?! add one more in the hopeless list...)
we had peking cuisine at Pine & Bamboo Restaurant for the birthday dinner. later, we went to Conard... this time was not as good as last time... anyway, jus for fun, don't take it too hard. hehe... ;)

SSL thank you dinner
didn't understand why they arranged the dinner on thursday nite, could be for the convenience of Brendan and Steve Clark, coz they will leave for Sydney tomorrow.
everyone seemed very happy today. singing, laughing all the time. if it was not too loud, it was a very good working atmophere~~ :)
the dinner was ok ok. i believe there must have some better chinese restaurants in the town, but anyway, no need to pay should not be too picky.

Relief
this morning received called from Kofan, she told me that she has got hers yesterday and confirmed by the consultant today. was so happy for her, but felt a bit upset for myself... as she jus lodged the application mid of this year, and she got it done so fast... and me? wait and wait and wait... still have no news from the department.
back home check email as usual, saw a "do-not-reply" email in my inbox. i was shocked as first, coz didn't know what's the content...
read and read and read... "your application is approved"
YEAHHHHHH!!!!!!! sooooooo happy!!!! it's over!!!
the last two months were the worst days that i had never been ever since i came here. as i was so worry that after all these, and it's back to square 1...
anyway, it's over!! and can have a good nite sleep

What a Monday?! -__-
monday, what a long day... Saikat was away and i was like losing my left hand... have to do all the work by myself... well, it is a problem of mine... people offer to help... but i jus don't want to bother others if i could handle by myself...
forgot when did i leave... on the bus, was thinking what to have for tonite... er... can't be bothered to cook, decided to have instant noodles. suddenly, a call saved my life.
Simon called.
S: hey, Zoe, have you had dinner yet?
Z: no, i am on the way home. why?
S: get off at Garden City, i'll come and pick you up! Kofanna and i have made something very nice!
Simon is an enthusiastic person. well, having a fren like him is good. who like sharing thing/ time with others.
i m so glad to have Kofan and Simon here. tonite, they saved my life!
it was a good dinner. Kofan made avocado sushi; Simon made avocado dip which they learnt few days ago at Byon Bay (not sure the spelling... well... somewhere on the earth lah~)

Vedant's birthday party @ Springfield Lakes
two birthday parties in a day, three birthday parties in 2 days... extremely exhausted man~

Sunshine Coast BBQ...
Simon picked me up at 13.00 to Kofan's place. washed the car at service station. got the birthday girl ready, we finally started our journey to Sunshine Coast at around 14.30.
was so tired. took a can of V drink to cheer me up...
i reckon this is the best Vdrink, the silver/ green package is not very nice...
on the way, we stopped and bought some strawberry in the strawberry field.
after around 2 hours drive, we finally arrived. and we were on the top of the mountain... found a nice spot and started to set up everything for the barbie... the scene was good, as there was a huge lake in front of us. so calm.
well, it took 1 hour and a half to set up the fire... almost starved to death... actually, there was no fire for most of the time.... the?! so we ended up left at around 19.00 and put all the food in the oven.
what a fantastic barbie~ haha... er... at least satisfied the birthday girl's wish... hehe...

Movie World Gold Coast tour
have been talked about this since september. going to Movie World is Maria's pre-birthday event.
after driving lesson, Maria came and picked me up just in time. we went to Helensville and had our breakkies. we talked and talked. was a happy start.
we didn't stay there for long, i thought we arrived there at around 10.30 and we left at 15.30. actually, it's not very big + half of us (including me) are not a big fan of having those "exciting" rides. so, Maria is the only person went for the rides all the way.... i felt so bad as i can't be a good company for her birthday event which she was so looking forward to it... oh well, at least i took one ride with her... which was supposed for those young kids.... i still can scream like someone is trying to kill me.... =3= it was really embrassing that after finished the ride, the mum of a young gal looked back and smiled at me... what the?! i screamed so loud meh?! >_<

after the theme park, we went to Gold Coast and had our lunch/ tea at J-kitchen. we all tried different ramen, was yum.
Conard Jupiter is a must-go wheneva come to Gold Coast with them :) this time i won A$65. not bad, must thank B chai, coz he always brings luck to me. later, we used those money to play and we ended up losing them all. haha. those originally not my money, so i didn't feel upset for losing them. :) as long as, i am happy while i am playing... it should be fine. hehe stay there until 22.00+ and we went home. was sooooo tired.
