vegetable fried rice

tonight, i want something simple and easy.
and lazy to defrost meat.
so, i used three kinds of vegetable and egg to make this fried rice.
i am pretty happy with the outcome ♥
and packed this for tomorrow lunch too~

my ever ending x-stitch project is almost finish.
the sewing part has been done.
after the final touch up,
they are officially done! ♪~

memory

memory, that is something that kofanna reminded me last nite.

that's what she said to me.
"last time your friend asked you to go watch a moive, you said you wanted to save money and not going. today, you spent so much to buy quilt and pillow."

"that is different. i buy quilt and pillow i can use it and it's tangible. after you watched a movie, what can you get?" i replied.

then she continued.
"no. when you go watching movie with your friend, that is a quality time that you share with your friends, a good memory shared between you and your friends and that is priceless."

yes, it's really true.
sometimes, i think i am too into my savings plan and overlook something which is also important.
a memory, that is something that we will talk about when we grow old. :D

so, i think i need to balance it out between what to spend and what to save.
focusing too much on one side is always not very good :)

haha... haven't been blogging for a while.
sometimes i felt lazy, so i didn't blog.

a happy break up party :(

our cell finally and officially breaks up on this day. :(
as our group is getting too big.
in order to let us grow better and healthier,
we had to make this painful decision.

haha... looking at the bright side,
if the cell getting bigger,
means our cell grow really well.
means more and more people know about God.
therefore, though it's painful,
but on the other hand, it's actually a good thing! ;P
therefore, this was aka cell group multiplication celebration,
and jonmeiyer house warming steamboat nite.
think we did have a wonderful nite :D
thanks mei and jon provided their house for us to gather
and held this meaningful break up party :D

yes, we did have steamboat,
but we also had korean bbq too!

japanese steamboat

since this winter comes a little bit early,
melissa invited maria, henry and i to her house to have japanese steamboat.

felt so accomplished on that day.
coz i did so many things in one day!
in the morning, i baked cookies bar for that nite.
was struggling that should i bake something or jus bought something over.
but at the end i baked that dalmatian bar that i made before.

suppose to cut into bars
a bite size square also can :D

then after that went yum cha with christy, her friend, nadyne, joanne and dougie.
was really full and fun to listen to christy and her friend's stories. haha. :D
and good to see hing jie too, she was my supervisor when i worked there during uni time :D

after home almost 15.00, but i determined to colour my hair.
as too many grey hair until i can't bear with it...
so just in time, before heading to melissa's house for dinner. :)

and we did add in some more ingredients...

hehe, anywhere with me, food will not be wasted for sure!

mother's day card

was invited to watch x-men origin: wolverine,
however, i promised myself to make a card for mum,
plus the show started really late.
so i decided to stay at home and concentrated on my card. :D

i am not a very creative person, and i have no time to think what to make.
therefore, i followed the japanese card making book that i bought from sydney.
to be honest, i don't really like the cover, coz it's kinda weird... XD
no choice, coz i really can't think of anything.
so, i think it is not too bad right?

i was surprised that mum received the card jus before mother's day.

coz i posted it out like on last wednesday,
and she received the card on friday. super fast!
so actually, they can really do it fast if they want to!!!!
don't pay extra for express post man. ;P

actually, i did make the envelop, but i forgot to upload...
and i am lazy to do that as the copy is in the other computer :(
and there is an unknown reason that the other one cannot go online :(
so... forget about the envelop... though it's the best thing i made comparing to the card. :D

oh, though i can't watch wolverine, i spent the whole day to watch the whole series of x-men.
it was awesome! and i did watch other movies like mall cop (funny but sweet), yes man (super funny) and 27 dresses (feel like falling in love).

that's all for now i guess.
