loss of interest

daffodil day 2008

saw an eye catching yellow outside border bookstore
when i was on the bus.
it is daffodil day today.
so i bought one bunch of daffodil
to support the event. :)

it' not open in the morning.
i thought it's dying...
but when i finished the day...
they all opened. :)

an unexpected gathering

didn't expect to have a gathering tonite.
we had dinner at jj's korean cafe & bar again.
this time i tried something different :D

the chicken wings were
AWESOME!

my kimchi rice with beef

had a nice chat with maria and mei
on queen street after dinner.
was full of fun.
which made my day ended wonderful. :)

maddie's birthday card 2008

with limited materials.
it is not too bad. i guess. :)

maddie's 1st birthday

made the birthday card
and wrapped the present this morning.

tp came and picked me up earlier,
as she needed to pick up sj as well. :)
haha tp said sj texted her this morning.
"is tp taxi service available today?"

the party was held in a park of clayfield.
weather was pretty good with nice breeze.
everything was jus fantastic!
good food, good company :)

gucci private event

not keen to go.
but rocky said if i didn't go
kofann would be bored on the bus.

the so-called private event,
i see it as being locked in the store
for couple of hours,
no matter how strong people are,
there must have someone
who cannot resist and buy something from the shop.
of coz, they offered something
to induce you to spend - 10% off of all items.
sounds good right? ^^

what i'm interested in,

was really busy today.
exhausted... +_+

planned to have dinner with maria's frens.
but ended up only two of us having dinner.
not because of the frens,
but we can't make it.

maria talked too much during the day
until she didn't want to talk any more....
(which is very rare... hehe)
and she felt bad if she didn't talk with the frens.
so we postponed the dinner to next week.

though didn't meet with the frens.
but our normal TGIF still on.
shopped in crazy clark and i bought the felt wool. ^^
quality is not as good as those in lincraft
but it's super cheap only 60 cents for A4 size each.
and also bought the wrapping paper for maddie' birthday present.

then we went to the bookstore...
and i bought this...

love needlework when i was very young.
now, still have the passion to sew...
but jus can't find time. :(
well, i am sure i will find some time
to start my long lost hobby again! ;)

then, we went to jj's korean cafe & bar to have dinner.

Mint Chocolate Cupcakes

the recent baking was not very successful.
today, when i made this i thought it would be another
unsuccessful creature...

surprisingly, it turned out great!!! hehe^^
kofann also said it's yummy,
even she doesn't like mint.~

i like the mint icing.
i did put a spoonful of mint icing in mouth!!!
haha... very sweet and fat!! :(

meeting frens

have been few weeks after i met melissa last time.
so, today we met for lunch with maria.
we went to jo jo's again~
thought this could be easier for her.
surprisingly, the baby tummy is not very big yet.
5 more months to go~
sooo excited!
later this month shall know boy/ girl ^^

and we all had a big big lunch~
really full!

after work, we went to david jones
to buy a present for maddison's 1st birthday.
bought these from pumkin patch.
a striped knit tunic top and a check skirt with belt. ^^

everytime, maria and i walk into the section,
our common comment would be
"so cute!!!"
that's what we will say,
and is the only thing we will say.... = 3= |||

why we still hang around after work?
hehe, tomorrow is public holiday mah~
so we shopped for a while
and went for dinner with maria's lj friends.

happy to make new frens~
tonite i met mei, maria lj fren's cousin.
they are all very nice people and
they are all singaporeans!!!
haha. back home, told kofann,
and she said why most of my frens are from s'pore.
well. not purposely.
but jus coincidence^^ hehe

movie: once (2007)

highly recommended by joey.
so i finally watched it tonite.

what should i say...
it's a quiet movie, but you'll never feel bored.
wonderful story, beautiful songs.

as mentioned in the poster.
this is so true.
even you found one, you just can't be together.
that is fate.

like marketa irglova said when she and glen hansard got the
best original song award at oscar.

they are really nice.

a pretty good day for this kind of activity~
sunny and clear sky with breeze

maria and her hubby have been waiting for this for long. :)
actually, not really excited for me,
as i am not the participant.
so, my role today was photographing,
look after the bags and water delivery. :)

hehe, very professional ;p

lucky, didn't play.
maria said it's very tiring.
and her hubby hurt his back too. :(
but they all had great fun today!
and will definitely play again.
(not for me though, i enjoy being an audience)

Lesson @ The Coffee Club

riri sensei is busy with schoolwork.
so we decided to meet in the city rather at my home.
since i hadn't had breakfast yet,
and it was almost 12.00.
we chose the coffee club to have brunch.

i ordered fish 'n' chips (pretty expensive)
and hot chocolate.
was really yummy~
(can't you tell from the pictures?) ^^

wanted to buy some felt wool from lincraft.
but needed to go home to do the grocery shopping with kofanna.
so, might wait until next week.

08.08.08 the game is on

waiting to watch the opening ceremony.
very excited and looking forward to it~
hopefully, the game can go on without any problem in these 16 days. :)
