Owner of the barking dog

was cooking in the kitchen,
kofanna suddenly asked
"is someone knocking at the door?"
i said..
"no, i didn't hear anything.
should be the noise when i cut the vegie."

few seconds later.
someone did knock the door very hard.

so, i went out and had a look.
er??! the face looks so familiar.
and she jus sat next to me on the bus.
(we always take the same bus...)

the lady told me she was from the house jus behind us.
she accidentally threw her dog's toy into our backyard.
and wished if we could help her to take it back.

so, here comes the chance.
and of course we took this opportunity (might only this time)
to voice out our grievance of her ever-barking dog.

she said she is aware of it and she apologised to us.
she and her partner will try harder to train the dog.
hopefully, she can do something about it...

i'm freezing > <

Green Tea Swiss Roll

i haven't been baking cake for a while,
asked kofan the other day.
she said she wants to have green tea cake.
and so,
i made this today :)
too full to try
will try it tomorrow morning
as breakfast... haha

a pretty old movie.
but it's wonderful!

though i have watched this before,
it was shown on tv tonite,
and i love watching dakota fanning's movie.
jus love her.

it's a bit boring for the first 15 mins.
no conversation and jus seeing two robots running around.
but the story is actually very good.
sort of environment protection kind of theme.

Honey Soy Chicken Wings

this is the 2nd time i made this.
last time was back to 2006,
and i used drumsticks instead of chicken wings.

i found it easier to make chicken wings.
as drumsticks takes too long to cook through...
and after work, just want something quick...

was quiet funny the other day when i decided to make this.
i thought i have a bag of chicken in the freezer.
(and it was the only meat in the fridge)
so i took it out to defrost and prepared the sauce.
while i tried to put the chicken wings to toss the sauce.
i discovered.... they were all the chicken bones...
what the???!! so stupid...
that means, actually, we had no meat at home!!!
since i have defrosted the chicken bones,
i just made some chinese soup with the bones...

so the next day, kofanna went to buy the chicken wings
from the butcher... hehe...

english & jap strengthening class

was talking about having a jap lesson
with melissa the other day.
so, i determined to make it on this sunday.

after church, went to hyperdome straight away.
bought some flowers and strawberries for the inooka family.
hehe not nice if with nothing to visit people. :)

we had a big sunday lunch.
guess what we had???
homemade handroll sushi~ yum!
was too excited and i forgot to take pictures. :(

so after lunch, we started the lesson.
i learnt something new.
the kanji 漢字 of kagi かぎ is 鍵. やったー
but melissa said since it's too difficult to write,
they normally write it in katakana 片仮名 as カギ.

meanwhile, justin kept coming and pulling my hand,
asked if i could play with him.
so we finished the chapter and took a break.

and then, we had an english discussion based on the newspaper.
was good. i read the paper out.
when i came across some words that i don't know
melissa will teach and explain to me.

we finished at around 17.00.
melissa wanted to drive me home.
but i thought it would be too tired for her.
(as she is pregnant)
so, she and justin walked me to the bus stop.
while we were waiting for the bus, we took these:

i went to the cinema.
was a good movie, but a bit long.

Sushi nite @ Ginga sushi bar

was thinking whether should i go tonite.
but after a week hardwork,
thought i deserve a better treat like this.

we went to Ginga sushi bar again.
here are some new things that we hadn't tried last time.

lousy bus

going home after work.
a sudden thunderstorm came.
while it was raining heavily outside.
the rain water was dripping inside...
what a lousy bus?!

one thing i don't really understand.
a lady was sitting right under the dripping water.
and she would rather use the newspaper to cover herself,
but not to just leave the seat and to stand in the bus...
seriously don't understand?!
and i finally know what "blond" means...

plush! plush!

since we took a wrong train,
we were an hour late for the doctor appointment! :(
lucky, the doctor is very nice.
otherwise, i have to make another appointment..
and my sick leave is like useless...

well, by the time we finished, it's 13.00+
(supposed to see the doctor @11.20)
then, we headed to garden city.
claimed the consultation fee and SHOPPPING~ :)

read wendy's blog the other day.
the food that she made was gorgeous.
so, can't help but went to the bookstore,
and found related books.
always good to have someone share same interest :)

kofan and i bought two books each.
and this will be our coming mission.
to make some plush toys~

each book contains different pattern.
and it also contains the website of the artists.
i spent the whole night to browse through their websites.
hehe, so happy to see all their finish plush toys.
they are really really professional!

Korean bbq with workmates~

company's management trainee, say-mun will leave this friday.
so we (steven, maria and me)decided to have dinner tonite.
we chose to have korean bbq in pinelands.

ever since last unpleasant experience,
i've got a bad impression with that restaurant.
(gas explosion, though it's only a minor one.
scary enough to take the step to their door again...)

well, since the steamboat shop was closed
and someone had jap food recently.
we chose to have the korean food.
and this was our first time (yes, everyone) to try this restaurant.

the cashier overcharged us AUD 20.00.
lucky, asked for the receipt,
otherwise we never know we paid extra 20 bucks.
