Busy Saturday

morning
driving lesson.
was a really bad one.
i don't understand why?
im jus so unstable... :(
though the instructor told me to forget about it.
i can't forgive myself...

having my japanese lesson.
Riri sensei (莉理先生) is kofanna's fren.
she is a japanese-chinese mix.
so we use both mandarin and japanese. :)
and we try to have a lesson once a week.

melissa came to have a haircut.
it was really good to play with her boys :)
they're jus so cute.

we decided to bake some cakes to help the kids to kill time.

m: "what are you making?"
j:"chocolate muffins."
z:"heh?? why i don't know?"

since he wants to have chocolate muffins,
i changed my plan to fit his wish. :)

surprisingly, the homemade choco muffins are much better
than the ready-made packet :) cool.

after dinner, i changed the blog skins.
and now im really tired.

The challenge is on

rima finally did not make the mars bar cheesecake.
but she did bring a hazelnut mousse cake... yum yum~

jay can't finish her slice, she passed it to me....
so, i had two slices... (very bad, haha who cares~)
after that, i was tempted to eat the beef snack from maria.
and of coz, i was too full to have my lunch...

came back from lunch break, we had a meeting at board room.
and melissa brought these while we were having the meeting.

banana, chocolate, orange & poppy seed,
mixed berries, macadamia nut, vanilla

guess what?
i jus have my big dinner tonite
omg... i am sure i will be over 60kg very soon!

Another challenge

12 cheesecakes... can't finish all, even can,
i think the next half year i don't want to see cheesecakes

so, decided to bring to office to share with my mates :)
lucky, they all liked it~~ yay~~
rima said she might make the mars bar cheesecake tonite...
sure it would be a big challenge for those who try so hard to avoid these kinds of food...

and i have a very interesting comment from two of the male frens.

"why you use the paper case?"

henry was lucky as maria told him that he needed to remove the case
but, simon jus ate the cheesecake with the case... well...??

i don't really understand, why most guys jus can't enjoy a cake with a folk??

Baked Cheesecakes

want to make cheese cake for long, i finally made one~
and it tasted really good, not too sweet,
just nice, like its size :)

it would be cheaper to buy one in the cheesecake shop...
but i really enjoy while i made this :) hehe

it's not i like eat those stuff,
i jus like making things.

actually, im not a sports person,
so i seriously can't feel their passion and excitement for the game...

and here not only in the office, but the whole state takes this so serious!

one thing i have to say, the cupcakes that rima and melissa bought today gives me reason why most of the business man are rich...

A$2.00 each and each of them buy one box of 10+ cupcakes... im sure they were not the only one who will buy those cupcakes....

anyway, these were our morning today :)

Ah E's farewell

it was last sunday.
haven't seen ah E for ages.
and she will leave here next saturday.
honestly, i am sure i will miss her.
as she is always kind to me and she cares for me so so much.

we had a really big lunch and made me so full.
cherry made green curry chicken and hong xao pork (don't know how pinyin...??).
cherry's fren chang wen fried two different vegies and made a seaweed salad.
of coz can't miss ah E's famous dumplings :) yum~~

other than having lunch, we did play the wii fit~~ hehe so much fun
too long haven't done exercise, was a bit too much to me... :(

Pineapple Upside-down Cupcakes

taste alright, but it doesn't look good as on the book... :(
it's funny that maria and her MIL said that why i put the pineapple at the bottom...
i remembered i placed them upside-down in the container...
so... i don't know why they will have this comment??! haha
after i told her this is a upside-down cupcake,

Happy mother's day~

almost missed the time to call mum...
(actually, if missed, i still can call tomorrow as they are almost one day behind us)
but lucky, kofan reminded me before i stepped out the door for grocery :)

was a long catch up call with my mum, dad and ah ching
oops i forgot to talk to keith... sorry lei~

talking to family is always my favourite weekend activity,
coz they always have something funny happened.

this time my dad awarded a gold medal ----
for putting an egg into the microwave oven...

what happened??? the egg exploded, seriously a 炸疍 (= bomb)... (= _ =) ||

the most funniest part is my father tried to escape from the scene...
pretending to search for something... and left the kitchen.

my sister is obviously clever than my dad....
she straight away called my father back and said

"don't pretend you are busy to find something, come and clean up your mess first!"

and my father gave a very funny look to my sister,
i guessed he must think "damn it! get caught, how she knows what i'm trying to do..."

i have a really funny family :)

and i love it!

the rest of the day was so busy to talk on phone to my two grandmothers and god mother...
talked to my elder sister as well :)
and she has new works released.

1. fried tomato and beef with tomato sauce - dinner

3. pineapple with melon liqueur - drink for watching tv

international curry day 2008

while everyone enjoyed their labour day holiday, we went back to office to work as it's only our state holiday...

international curry day was decided last week for our lunch, so we won't starve to death...
